Domaine Henry Natter

This domaine was founded in 1974 by Cecile and Henry Natter in Montigny, on the southwest borders of the appellation. Today it is run by two of their children, Mathilde and her younger brother Vincent. The vineyards are on a mix of clay and limestone at around 350 metres altitude and many of them on some impressive slopes. The cuvée we buy is aged in larges foudres for about six months which adds texture rather than oak influence. The wine maintains a remarkable mix of stone fruit, grass and minerality with an appealing underlying richness.
