Over the past few years Sébastien Cathiard has really put his own stamp on this domaine. The wines retain a glorious polish and luxurious quality. They now seem to be more focussed and more serious than before, with less hedonistic new oak and more structure and nuanced complexity. If anything demand for the wines has only intensified since he took charge and the domaine remains an epic one of extraordinary pull.
