Leeuwin Estate, owned and run by the Horgan family, is one of the pioneering generations of wineries established in Margaret River in the early 1970s. With its stellar international reputation for producing wines that rank alongside the world’s finest, Leeuwin is a world-class ambassador for Western Australia and its wines have the rare distinction of being truly age-worthy. Attracted to the potential of this new area, some 300 kilometres south of Perth on the edge of the Indian Ocean, and its temperate climate and ideal terrain for growing grapes; founders Denis and Tricia Horgan’s decades of long-term investment, combined with some of the lowest yields in Australia, have resulted in worldwide recognition for the winery. The estate releases wines under three different labels: the Art Series, Prelude Vineyards and Siblings labels
