Azienda Agricola Frozza

Agr. Frozza is a tiny family-run estate of eight hectares situated in the heart of Valdobbiadene in an area that is known for producing terroir infused Prosecco from extremely steep mountainside vineyards. Giovanni Frozza, highly regarded by connoisseurs in the Veneto region as a self-styled, outstanding virtuoso in the art of artisanal Prosecco winemaking. With eight hectares of 25-50-year-old vines, Giovanni and his uncle use traditional methods in both the vineyard and the cellar to produce wines that stand the test of generations. Giovanni still uses indigenous varietals and native yeasts in his winemaking, despite regulations becoming gradually less strict in the region.
